MIAMI TRANSPORT

Miami Transportation - There are a number of different public transportation offerings available to the use of the public. There is the Metrobus, the Tri-Rail, Metrorail and Metromover and there is also and Elecrowave. All these are available for the public’s use. If you prefer to rent a car you may also do that over the internet and collect your car at the airport or have it delivered to your hotel. Taxis and limos are available and don’t forget to check with your hotel as they offer shuttles sometimes free of charge.

Travel Guide

Metrobus covers all parts of Miami Dade County as does Metrorail (see contact numbers in the section on Airports of this Guide).

You can buy 10 tokens for a slight discount on the single fares which are about less than $2 for MetroBus and MetroRail.

MetroMover is a free service and it covers the center of Downtown Miami and also goes to the Brickell and Government Center Metrorail stations. All you have to do is select the station you want to go to and check which is the best route to get there – There are three different loops Onmi, Brickell and Downtown Loops and there are 21 stations in all.

Getting around Miami is convenient, inexpensive and efficient. You’ll be able to find your destinations relatively easy in this fantastic city. Just be sure to plan out your routes ahead of time to decide which means of transportation will be right for you.

You can also take a tour of the city. This will give you the most information about the history of the area while you are seeing the beautiful scenery. However you decide to see Miami, you can be sure that you’ll enjoy every moment you spend in Miami.
